To empower and safeguard vulnerable adults in Ashtabula County by providing compassionate, ethical and person-centered supported decision-making services, guardianship, and alternative solutions that promote their well-being, dignity and autonomy.

Our Vision

Our vision is a future where every vulnerable adult in Ashtabula County lives with dignity, security, and the opportunity to make their own choices, supported by an organization that is a model of excellence, collaboration, and advocacy for supported decision making.

Eligibility Criteria:

Mentally impaired: As a result of a mental or physical illness or disability
Intellectually Disabled: having a significant limitation in intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior
Chronically Substance Abused: To the extent that they are incapable of taking proper care of themselves, their property or fail to provide for their family.
Confined to a correctional institution: while incarcerated within the state
Family or advocate working directly with individuals that meet these criteria
Professionals that work and serve individuals that meet this criteria
